[ARCHIVED] Christmas Tree recycling available at county landfill in Pahrump

Pahrump Valley Disposal will pick up on its regular trash schedule and recycle Christmas trees that are curbside and in three-foot bundles. Trees collected in Amargosa Valley and Beatty also need to be in three-foot bundles to be recycled.

Trees can also be dropped off at the Nye County Landfill at 1631 E. Mesquite Avenue in Pahrump.

Please remove all lights and decorations before recycling

The landfill is open seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The site will be closed Wednesday, December 25th and January 1st. Service will be delayed those weeks one day for customers with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday collection days.

Green and wood waste is accepted directly at the landfill year-round.

There is not a tree recycling program available at the County Landfill in Tonopah.

For additional questions about the landfill, call (775) 727-5777.
