Pahrump8

The Pahrump Balloon Festival hits Petrack Park this weekend, bringing together more than 30 hot air balloon pilots from the western states.

The Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce event  runs from Friday, February 22 through Sunday, February 24.

Basin Avenue will be closed between Highway 160 and Whitney Lane on Saturday for the event. That area could be closed Friday and Sunday depending on the traffic and crowds.

The event includes hot air balloon rides, music, entertainment, great food, vendors, high school rodeo, and more! There will also be a hot air balloon glow show the evening of Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23, where more than a dozen balloons will illuminate the area as they synchronize their balloons to music.

Admission to the festival is free and prices to festival attractions/events are:

Carnival tickets are $20 presale and $25 on days of the festival
Rodeo Tickets are $20 for all 3 days and includes VIP Access to the Glow Show (Friday and Saturday).
Glow Show by itself is $10 right before the event
