A second Southern Nye County Treasurer's Trust Auction is scheduled for Wednesday, June 20 in Pahrump. The auction will offer more than 260 properties mostly in the Pahrump Valley.
The Nye County Commission Chambers, 2100 E. Walt Williams Drive, will again be the site of the auction starting at 9 a.m.
Registration is June 19 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pahrump Treasurer's office, 170 N. Floyd  Street, Suite 2; and the morning of the auction on site starting at 8 a.m.
Prospective bidders must have a valid photo ID and provide a $500 deposit in cash, cashier's checks or money order. If successful, the deposit will be applied to the purchase price. Full payment of successful bids, and the real property transfer tax, must be received the day of the auction by cash, cashier's checks or money orders. No personal checks accepted, and no financing available.
Return of their deposit for unsuccessful bidders will happen at the end of the auction.
While most properties are located in Pahrump, two properties will be available in Gabbs and one in Tonopah.
The annual Treasurer's Trust Auction held in April saw 79 percent of the offered properties sold. According to Treasurer Pam Webster, 149 of 188 properties sold in the Pahrump area auction held April 18, raising $621,991.
Six of eight properties listed in Tonopah and Northern Nye sold April 16, for $59,872.
