[ARCHIVED] Request for Qualifications for Northern Nye County Hospital District Executive Director

The Northern Nye County Hospital District (District) Board of Trustees (Board) is formally requesting Interest and Qualifications for professional services of qualified health care services executive directors. The Board wishes to retain these services to assist the District with the planning, coordination, and provision of health care services within the hospital district.  The types of services may include, but not be limited to: interacting with elected officials, private businesses, medical providers and others as needed to oversee the provision of health care services within the district; attend NNCHD board meetings and will be responsible for the keeping of board meeting minutes, as well as compiling and posting the board meeting agendas; interact with other contracted staff as needed to support NNCHD; responsible for establishing and managing the district’s budget and will need to be able to effectively negotiate and monitor contracts with service providers; address facility needs for the district; and attend meetings as required by the Board.

Please note that this is a request for a Statement of Interest and Qualifications; a detailed cost proposal is not being requested at this time.  Final project costs will be determined through negotiations with the selected consultant.  If project cost negotiations with the selected firm are unsuccessful, the District reserves the right to enter into negotiations with other consultant(s).

The District assumes no obligation in the solicitation of the general statement of interest and qualifications and all costs of responding to the solicitation shall be borne by the interested consultants.

Time is of the essence, therefore, the District will evaluate all pertinent information and will endeavor to select the consultant with which it will work from those consultants submitting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ’s).  If a selection cannot be made on the basis of the qualifications statements alone, the most qualified consultants may be contacted for additional information and, if warranted, detailed interviews.

Questions regarding this request and the proposed services should be directed to Lorina Dellinger at the Nye County Administration Office, 101 Radar Rd., Tonopah, NV 89049 or by calling (775) 482-8191.

Six copies of the Statement of Interest and Qualifications should be submitted to Nye County Administration at 101 Radar Rd., P.O. Box 153 Tonopah, NV 89049 no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday August 4, 2017.
