[ARCHIVED] Commission Chairman Schinhofen thanks Nye County Volunteers

Subject: Thank you

Dear: Nye County Volunteers

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for sitting on boards, responding to fires, running ambulance services, and all the other things you all do to make this County work.
I know that there are times when our board may make votes or individual statements that might make you wonder if we even care. I want to assure you that we do.
As we move forward through this year, I would like you to know that we are ready to listen to you. If you have ideas to make things better, please feel free to contact me or your Commissioner as we are here for you.
We have faced some very hard years and I am hoping for an easing of that in the coming years and ask you all to bear with us as we struggle with each issue that comes before us.
Again, my heart felt gratitude to you all.

Sincerely,

Dan Schinhofen
Chairman
