[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Hearing on (date of PH) on Nye County Bill No. 2014-17:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bill No. 2014-17 entitled: A BILL PROPOSING TO AMEND TITLE 2 OF THE NYE COUNTY CODE, TITLED ADMINISTRATION AND PERSONNEL, CHAPTER 2.18 TITLED ADOPTION OF THE UNINCORPORATED TOWN GOVERNMENT LAW, BY AMENDING THE APPLICABILITY OF THE UNINCORPORATED TOWN GOVERNMENT LAW TO EXCLUDE THE UNINCORPORATED TOWNS OF AMARGOSA VALLEY, PAHRUMP, ROUND MOUNTAIN AND TONOPAH; PROVIDING FOR THE SEVERABILITY, ONSTITUTIONALITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF, AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO, was proposed by the Board of County Commissioners at its June 17, 2014 meeting.

Pursuant to NRS 244.100.1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Nye, State of Nevada, will hold a Public Hearing on Bill No. 2014-17 on Tuesday, the 15th day of July, 2014, at the time of 10:45 AM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Commissioners’ Chambers, 2100 E. Walt Williams Dr., located in Pahrump, Nevada, at which time any and all interested parties may appear and be heard.
A copy of the Bill is available for public review at the Nye County Clerk’s Office located at 101 Radar Road, Tonopah Nevada.
