[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Hearing on June 17, 2014 on Nye County Bill No. 2013-25:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bill No. 2013-25 entitled: A Bill proposing to amend Nye County Code, Chapter 16.28, the Division of Land Ordinance of the Pahrump Regional Planning District, by amending Section 16.28.170 “Parcel Map Procedure,” to Require Water Rights to be Relinquished in the Amount of Three (3) Acre-feed for each new Parcel of Land Created Through the Parcel Map Process; to Require a Minimum Parcel Size of ten (10) Gross Acres for Existing Parcels Zoned for Single-Family Residential use to be Eligible to Submit a Parcel Map Application; and to Require that all new Parcels Created Through the Parcel Map Process which are Zoned for Single-Family Residential use Shall be a Minimum of Five (5) Gross Acres; and Providing for the Severability, Constitutionality and Effective Date thereof, and Other Matters Properly Relating Thereto, was proposed by the Board of County Commissioners at its May 19, 2014 meeting.

Pursuant to NRS 244.100.1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Nye, State of Nevada, will hold a Public Hearing on Bill No. 2013-25 on Tuesday, the 17th day of June, 2014, at the time of 11:00 AM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Commissioners’ Chambers, 2100 E. Walt Williams Dr., located in Pahrump, Nevada, and 101 Radar Road, located in Tonopah, Nevada at which time any and all interested parties may appear and be heard.
A copy of the Bill is available for public review at the Nye County Clerk’s Office located at 101 Radar Road, Tonopah Nevada.
