Nye County has begun accepting applications for the Nye County Veterans Banner Program to honor its past and present veterans for their service to our country. Selected Veterans’ names and photos will be displayed on banners on the Calvada Eye in Pahrump and the William P. Beko Justice Complex in Tonopah.
To qualify for the Veterans Banner Program, the following criteria must be met:
- The honoree is a present or past member of the United States Armed Forces.
- The honoree is a current resident, former resident, or deceased resident of Nye County.
- The honoree’s discharge from military service was not dishonorable.
- The applicant must be the honoree or the closest living relative to the honoree.
Applications are available for pick up at the Nye County Administration Offices located at 2100 E. Walt Williams Dr, Suite 100, Pahrump, and 101 Radar Rd., Tonopah, or available to print from nyecountynv.gov/972.
Applications must be submitted to Nye County Administration Office in Pahrump or Tonopah by Friday, December 1, 2023, by 5 p.m.
