[ARCHIVED] District Court seeking to fill Court Administrator, Court Reporter positions

The 5th Judicial District Court is seeking to fill two positions; the Court Administrator and Court Reporter. 

The Court Administrator pay rate is $39.02 per hour, and the Court Reporter pay rate is $31.59 per hour. Both positions are open until filled.

The Court Administrator plans, organizes, oversees, and administers the support services for the effective functioning of the courtrooms in the Fifth Judicial District. Responsible for the management and supervision of all district courtrooms, including courtroom staff. Administers the daily operations of the Courts, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of the case management systems, strategic planning, and fiscal activity, including budget development and administration and supervision of financial matters for the Court. Provides for the coordination of activities with the judicial system and other county and state departments. Administers the duties of the Office of the Clerk as defined by the Nevada Revised Statutes and court policy.

The Court Reporter works under the direction of the Judge, to perform duties in accordance with court rules and regulations, record court hearings, proceedings and actions using recording equipment, transcribes verbatim court proceedings into printed form from such recordings, operating audio recording equipment if necessary.
