[ARCHIVED] Community Workshops on County's Strategic 5-year Plan throughout the County, June 29-July 1

The College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno is assisting the government of Nye County in the development of a new organizational strategic plan. As part of this effort, faculty and staff from the College of Business will host a series of community meetings and workshops throughout Nye County starting Tuesday, June 29th. These community meetings and workshops have been designed to solicit input from community residents and leaders, business owners, non-profit organizations, and members of the community that will be used to shape organizational goals and objectives for the government of Nye County for the next five years.

Workshop participants will be asked to complete a number of group activities, including the development of a community positions assessment of the community, the county, and the county government, a comprehensive community and organizational Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats analysis, and a general community assessment. The results of these community workshops and meetings will be incorporated into the final organizational strategic plan for Nye County. 

Who Should Attend? Community residents and leaders, property owners, business owners, representatives of various non-profit and faith-based organizations, and members of the community are welcome to attend and participate in this community meeting and workshop.
