[ARCHIVED] Nye County Community Assets (Strengths) Survey

2020 NEAP economic survey (jpg)

Nye County is requesting your valuable input about your county’s economic strengths.

This survey is one component of the broader Nevada Economic Assessment Project (NEAP) that compiles socioeconomic baseline data for Nye County to assist local government in land-use project planning, grant-writing, and policy assessment. Data is compiled from sources such as U.S. Census Data and the Bureau of Economic Analysis to show economic trends and opportunities. However, we also need information gathered from you, the community residents themselves. This survey is designed to collect your valuable input about your community's strengths (i.e., assets).

The survey and project is part of the University of Nevada, Reno overall NEAP project to provide county, state, and federal agencies, and their partners, with quantitative and qualitative baseline data and analyses to understand better trends in each county's demographic, social, economic, fiscal, and environmental characteristics.

The survey is estimated to take 15 minutes of your time. Your responses will be completely anonymous and cannot be linked back to you in anyway. The results will be summarized and made available with residents and local decision makers in a final report. Deadline January 10, 2021.
