County Manager

Overview

The Nye County Manager, appointed by the Board of Nye County Commissioners, is the County’s chief administrative officer.

The County Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of county government and facilitates implementation of the goals and objectives of the County Commissioners.

The County Manager is also responsible for the following departments and functions:

  • Comptroller
  • Department of Emergency Management
  • Facilities
  • Human Resources
  • Information Technology
  • Planning Department
  • Public Works
